Back on the BBC!

This November, Anastasia, Eddie and Sue are back on British airwaves as the first season of Night Terrace is repeated on BBC radio!

You can hear all eight episodes as they are broadcast nightly on BBC Radio 4 Extra at 6 PM (GMT) from Monday, November 9. Each episode will also be repeated at midnight, and available via BBC catchup services for 30 days afterwards, including in the BBC Sounds app for mobile devices. You can find the schedule on the BBC web site, though note they only show about two weeks in advance.

Night Terrace stars (left to right) Ben McKenzie, Jackie Woodburne and Petra Elliott.

To celebrate, we’re making publicly available a new slice of the Night Terrace universe: For Your Ears Only, an in-universe “emergency contingency podcast” from the shadowy D.E.P.A.R.T.M.E.N.T.

The first (very short) season of For Your Ears Only is the “Stage 4 Training Module”, conceived, written and performed by Petra Elliott as “Sue”. It takes the form of a series of instructions you can follow while walking, jogging or running during periods of lockdown to help keep your mind as active as your body. Being a secret D.E.P.A.R.T.M.E.N.T. communique, its not currently available via the major podcast directories; head to the For Your Ears Only page to find details on how you can subscribe, or you can listen direct from the page!

Remember too that if you want your own copy of Night Terrace to keep and listen to whenever you want, you can always buy it from our store here on the site, or via Bandcamp. If you’re keen to support Splendid Chaps Productions, you can buy any of our seasons or mini-series from Bandcamp on Bandcamp Friday, when the platform is waiving their fees to help support artists during the COVID-19 pandemic; the next one is on Friday, November 6.
